Our verdict

Hostaway is one of the two largest professionally-funded systems in this category, with customers collectively managing more than 100,000 properties in over 100 countries, backing from PSG Equity since 2023 and a $365 million growth investment led by General Atlantic. It has been an Airbnb Preferred+ Software Partner for four consecutive years and states it was rated Excellent in both categories Airbnb assesses, Integration Quality and Feature Offering, which is a meaningful signal on API reliability. For a UK buyer the significant finding is the opposite of a price: Hostaway publishes no pricing at all. There is no currency, no figure, no minimum portfolio size, no stated trial and no contract length on the pricing page, which offers only "Get a free quote". Quote-only pricing is normal at enterprise scale but unusual for a system that also markets to operators with a handful of properties, and it means a UK owner cannot compare Hostaway against a published GBP rate card without entering a sales process. No UK entity, UK support hours or UK phone number were located. No UK holiday-let channel connectivity is advertised. Buyers should ask specifically about GBP invoicing, VAT treatment and contract minimums at quote stage.
