Every day we re-read the 32 government pages that the 10 regulation pages on this site are built from — gov.uk, gov.scot, gov.wales, legislation.gov.uk and Tourism NI. When the wording of one of them changes, the change is logged here with the new passage quoted verbatim and a link to the source. Nothing on this page is written by us beyond the labels: an entry is a quote, a date and a link.

These entries record what a government page now says. They do not interpret it, and they never change the regulation pages themselves — those are edited by hand, checked, and dated when we do it.
