Hostfully Guidebooks is the most reviewed product in this category — 4.8 across 123 Capterra reviews — and the only one with a permanently free tier: one guidebook at $0, no card, no trial clock. For a single-property owner testing whether a digital guidebook changes anything, that is the lowest-risk entry point available. Paid tiers add branding, bulk editing, sixteen-plus language translations and a marketplace for upsells, which carries a 1% Stripe fee on top of the subscription. Cancellation is anytime. The transparency stops at the free tier. Hostfully's current pricing page publishes the structure — Free, Pro for up to 199 guidebooks, Enterprise for 200-plus — but not the Pro price, and its own help centre confirms billing is per published guidebook without saying what a guidebook costs. Third-party directories still list an older tier ladder that no longer matches the vendor's page, so a buyer researching this product will find contradictory numbers.
