Our verdict

Smoobu is a Berlin company, Smoobu GmbH, and its pricing page is explicit about something most European vendors leave ambiguous: the GBP figures it shows are estimates for reference only, and billing is in euros. For a UK operator that means exposure to exchange-rate movement and to card FX fees on every invoice, and it is the reason we record gbp_billing as false despite a £ figure appearing on screen. On the published rates, Professional Flex is EUR29 per unit per month but carries a 0.9% booking fee, while the prepaid and Teams tiers are commission-free at EUR31.50 and EUR49.50 after the 10% annual discount. There is a separate line stating additional units cost from EUR9.60 a month, which does not reconcile cleanly with the per-unit headline, so anyone with more than one property should get the multi-unit figure confirmed rather than multiplying the headline out. There are no setup or onboarding fees, a 14-day free trial with no card required, and annual and two-year discounts of 10% and 20%. VAT is calculated at checkout. We did not verify its channel list, integrations or feature set to vendor sources in this review, and no UK holiday-let channel connectivity is advertised.
